Above my head

Creates a glare & quite a blare

To shred my ear

-Irregular, unwelcome year,

Why must you barge

Into my straining life to spread

Alarm & fear?

-I cow'r and shiver as I wait;

The scimitar

Of sharp'ning moon grins…
