Precognition over Pills
Slowly, Grandma's frantic rocking petered to a halt.
"An ambulance is on it's way." Charlie announced. Lucy was bandaged with ice, but blood was already pooling again beneath her.
"She's getting worse." Paul's gaze shifted from Lucy, to their mother, and back."I can't tell if she is predicting the future anymore or making it happen."
"She's just a crazy old woman stuck in her own head." Janet popped another pill, fifteen minutes early.
The three of them flinched as the rocker let out a groaning squeak. Grandma's eyes were glazed over, mouth hanging open.
"Are we sure we don't want to move to Vermont? We can put her out of our suffering there." Charlie jokingly proposed, but it was followed by extended silence while the group seriously thought it over.
"Janet!" Grandma shrieked. "Pills, pills, pills, pills, Honey. They are going to be the death of you."
"Damn it Mom!" Janet fished another one out and took it dry. "I can't deal with this."
Her last words slurred into hiss as she toppled to the floor.

This is where I thought this story would go, too!
I don't get the Euchre references so much... I mean, I get that Granny could predict the table, but I prefer the way you handled this scene - with the others siding with the reader in not being sure granny is sane or not.
