Lifeless World
A lifeless void. This place was had no life to be seen. None she could feel. All that remained of it were traces of life... momentos from a long forgotten past. The feeling that something had once lived here. The memories of light. The only thing that lived in this dreary place now however, were the monsters who'd killed or chased it all away.
She sighed. It was truly a tragedy. How many lost their lives because of their selfish desires? It disgusted her.
She followed the lifeless stone trail. Not a single plant or ant or being save for herself lived.

Let me be the second to welcome you to Ficlatte. Ethel's so much faster at noticing new content than I am, to her credit. I'm a sucker for mysteries and am curious what you're going to do with a barren, lifeless, void (except for the occasional monster?). On a side note, how much constructive criticism are you interested in? I tend to offer a lot but I don't want to overwhelm anyone or give it where it's not wanted.

Hi, Nora. Welcome to the site.
Is this character an ant-herder? That's giving me an idea actually.
I am drawn to the sequel to see where this one is going.
