Voodoo

A means to an end

Beating hearts, abuse

love sway

untrue

The moon, impassive

midway

withdrew

Left lovers lost

cold day

tears few

Returned to mock

hearsay

statue

Dead eyes glossed

survey

breakthrough

On tides, feelings flow

halfway

renew

Delights and dismays

soiree

imbue

Moonlight glows

melee

pursue

Hearts dance in the rays

hopes play

anew

I am really tired while reading this poem, so it will take a few more times through to absorb it, but it is very beautiful. I love the use of single word lines.
