Despicable Me
There is a kind of self loathing that exists beyond the burn of violent hatred and far from spineless apathy, that rests solidly on what can only be described as having become despicable in my own eyes.
It is one of the worst sensations I have ever experienced, brought on by a decision I consciously made: to harm someone for my selfish benefit.
If any saving grace were to be found for me, it is that I stopped the moment I awoke to what I had done. Now left with emotions severed and writhing, I can only stare internally at what I have become, asking what distraction, desire or vice would allow such monstrous behavior to manifest in me, and why oh why why why couldn't I have seen it before I hurt her.

HIndsight is 20/20. You can try an apology, but the best thing to acknowledge it, learn from it, and catch yourself before you make the same mistake in the future.

A Gypsy Heart
Heartbreaking. Unfortunately our actions have consequences. When we are focused only on our own desires we forget that they don't just affect us. We never seek to hurt someone in a relationship, but when we do, it takes a piece of our heart with it. If only we could get a glimps of the future and stop before we do that which we hate the most.
To hurt or be hurt. Follow your heart and not the advice of others. Be true to yourself. These words come to mind... "stop saying you know how I feel. How can anyone know what another feels." Relate....yes. But know know...

We're all human. We all make mistakes, sometimes even irreparable ones. There are consequences, unavoidably, and we have to face up and deal with them. But we can learn from those mistakes, make changes necessary to make sure we don't repeat them, and move on to become better versions of ourselves. #VoiceOfExperience
