Finally, He Types

TheCheshireChris

I'm just this guy, you know?

To expand on that, I am also the following...

- A former ficly member who is 38 years old and is schizoaffective (depressive type)

- Into creating languages and fantasy worlds from scratch

- A listener of audiobooks & good tunes

- Always too hard on myself

He reluctantly tapped at the keyboard with his fingers. They had taught him in school how to type properly, but he wasn't sure if he was executing it the way his teachers in 6th grade had intended. It did, however, get the job done.

He didn't want to delve into the part of his mind that contained his feelings for her because he knew that if he did there was a very likely chance that the emotion that erupted from it would be of tsunami proportions.

He started simply. Writing a setting. Describing it. Describing her. They way he saw her of course.

He hit the backspace button several times and tried to come up with a more realistic view point of the girl that had stolen his heart and now was hovering over his shoulder watching his every move.

He reached for the fifth of whiskey again, but this time he hesitated and left it in its place on the desk.

He didn't want a crutch for his emotions. At least not more of one. He wanted to get out what he could get out by free will and not inebriation.

It's a demon of his own making. Those are hard to vanquish. It's like chopping at your own crutch to force yourself to walk again.
