Phoebe and Casey: Drinks

I have been HS Wift for the longest time now, through some of the darkest hours I have known, and it warms my heart to know that the light that led me through lives on still.

May it never die.

"So, my intrepid friend. I think I'm quite ready for another adventure. Care to follow me once more down the rabbit hole?" Phoebe asked her friend across the table. She watched over the rim of her glass as Casey downed her fourth ale of the night.

Casey laughed, "Do you even need to ask? If there's something needs finding, I'm your gal. Casey Ryder's on the case! So what's the lead this time?"

"Hold your horses, Cass. You want the adventure? You're gonna have to give me something in exchange..."

Casey drunkenly made a sound halfway between a sigh and a burp. "Damn it, we've been over this, if you lend the find to the museum, you-"

"Don't worry, this isn't out of your way," Phoebe interjected, "I want you to tell me a story."

"Great, how's about Casey Ryder and the Trials of the Blackstaff?"

Phoebe smiled, "No, Cass, this time I'm being specific. I want your first story. I want to know how you first got into all this."

"You know what, Phoebe, I might just be drunk enough to tell you..."

Yeah, I'm working on a little cheesy origin story as a tie-in. I think I'd like to write a few brief parody adventures for the character

This makes me think of if Indiana Jones was more dark and less comedy.

What's interesting is it sounds like they've never been on an adventure together. Maybe it is about time.
