There's no doubt that social media has actually had a negative impact on socialization in today's culture. It's counterintuitive as hell, but there's been quite a few studies done and not a little discussion conducted on the subject.

AMEN! These are great and can be fun but they're not supposed to replace actual human interaction and conversation! I think people have simply forgotten that.
