"I never said any of that."

"Then after I sulked about having to let go of this notion that the Past Me was who I wanted to be, I saw that I could become someone else whom you might need. You don't need Old me, you need New me."

"Sure."

"Progress!"

"If you say so."

"I say so."

"You feel better?"

"Yup."

"Are you sure?"

"Nope."

"Glad I could be of... NOPE? Why not?"

"Well, what if I get sucked back into the past?"

"The past five minutes??"

"No, the Past me."

"Listen, I've changed, you've changed, and we are just going to have to go with it. Deal?"

"Well, shove me into the Future Me, why don't ya?"

"Yes. Go. The Future You thanks you."

"Fine. I'm Future Me."

"Which is now. So you're you. Be yourself."

"Do you like me?"

"Just the way you are.

Awwwww this is adorable in a "internal monologue" way hehehe. Something so innately right about the anti-climactic yet "inner peace" ending.
