Late Is Better Than Never

To expand on that, I am also the following...

- Into creating languages and fantasy worlds from scratch
- A listener of audiobooks & good tunes
- Always too hard on myself
"I have a surprise for you..." Edgar said, trailing off as he rushed around the laboratory pushing buttons and pulling levers, this fulfilling the purposes of those particular object.
Renee gave a dramatic sigh that carried an annoyance that burned with the fire of a thousand suns, were annoyings a physical item with the capacity to combust once a certain level of bullshit had been reached.
"... and then I mixed in some nosulhexamine in and BOOSH!." he faded back in, apparently having had been talking the entire time. Renee safely assumed she didn't miss anything important.
From behind Edgar's back he produced a small, beautifully crafted, brass clockwork mouse. Through the filigree Renee saw a vial filled with a stunning and sparkling blue liquid that danced about in her hand as she trembled in the awe of what she was holding.
She quickly composed herself and remembered past transgression, giving a very terse "It's pretty."
"Happy belated birthday, my dear grandchild." Edgar said with a grin.

I love the dramatic sighs of the granddaughter. Such a teenager! Grandpa clearly has a flair for the dramatic himself. I'd love to see their relationship on a normal day.
