Eeyore
I've got a monster in my chest
A sad one
Like the evil Eeyore that hides underneath your comforter at night when the room is too hot and your skin is too cold and everything is too much and not enough and you're certain that you're dying inside of your skin
Eeyore crawls out
Begging for love
Pleading for attention
As it sits on top of you and whispers in broken tones "Do you love me?"
And you can't fight it and you can't win because that voice reminds you too much of the face in the mirror and the one living in that shoebox you've thrown into the recesses of your closet
So you just say "yes I do"

Indeed it's often a panacea for the Eeyores hiding inside our chests and tearducts.

I adore your style. It has a crazy kind of "damn the grammer full speed ahead" feel that would have excited LOA debates for days in the good old days.

Thank you!! LOL I write how I think for the most part so that's a pretty accurate description of me in general. I'm glad you find it intriguing though. ^.^

A series of these that used each of the Pooh characters as metaphors for disorders could be really interesting . . .

Evil Eeyore can't make you feel better, but waking up with a fresh perspective might.
