Tamori Taka: The farewell of mixed emotions
I have been HS Wift for the longest time now, through some of the darkest hours I have known, and it warms my heart to know that the light that led me through lives on still.
May it never die.
Almost the moment Mirumoto Keshintai entered the village, she found herself ambushed by a deep hug from a very excitable young Tamori girl.
The friends spent the better part of a day catching up, before Taka finally relented and let Keshintai spend some time with her family. Taka used that time to make sure her fireworks were perfect, and that everything was ready for her parting.
The festival was a great success, everyone enjoyed the fireworks, the food was excellent, and the samurai families each exchanged many functionally useless gifts.
A few days after the festival, the day of Taka's parting came. Taka's family were there, her parents, and her brother, Tamori Heiura, and her sister, Tamori Lin, as well as Fakura and Keshintai. She bade hopeful, yet sad farewells to her family and teacher, before turning to the road.
With her best and only friend beside her, Taka was ecstatic.
