Travelers

We are all travelers, drifting through the cosmic sea, floating between the stars.

Some of us fly through dense galaxies, basking in the light of a hundred stars. Others dwell in deep space, gazing longingly at the distant pinpricks of light. But still we travel onwards, and in so doing, our outlook may change, from light to dark and dark to light.

We are all travelers, though some travel faster than others.

Some of us course forward, running to and running from, dashing past comets and astral clouds. Others list lazily, admiring the beauty of the solar systems about us. But still we travel onwards, and in so doing, our pace may change, accelerating and retarding.

We are all travelers, in a universe of chaos.

We travel onwards, heading for the edges of the universe, while the edges themselves flee from us. Moons fly about planets and planets about stars. But still we travel onwards, and in so doing, preserve the hope that somewhere, drifting through the cosmic sea, is somebody to share the journey with.
