Waiting to Emerge

slapdashmonuments

Inspiration hits with a flash, stories written on the go. A rumble of laughter and the tale is heard only in echoes. The wind blows me in a new direction. Whom shall I visit next?

I'm summoning Sydney, and by my reckoning he'll appear Thursday, spade in hand, bearing lilies.

This is such an interesting use of format, telling the story one sentence at a time. You really have to consider every word within each part...

I think, for me, this one and the "Shoveling in the Copse of Dead Aspens" are the most effective as stand alone works.

I am starting a 12 word per entry series right now. I have no idea what will happen. I seldom do!
