Cape-Fear
Getting back into the flow of writing, mostly with wordplay and poems. I'm a creative soul, from childhood to middle age, and my joy is to produce new things the world has never seen before. I'm an educator from the USA working as a college professor of lit and music. I'm learning to love myself little by little.
There's a new super-villain in town, Dark Cloak. Their face is never seen, but they seem powerful and definitely malicious; their most notable characteristic is a deep, black, flowing cloak or cape that serves Dark Cloak's many sinister purposes.
This ebony mantle serves first as a disguise or camouflage, keeping its wearer nearly invisible in the dark, and unnoticeable in daylight. Its many pockets and pouches hold numerous mysterious objects, such as potions, grenades, darts, and other unknown things. Its lead lining protects Dark Cloak from X rays and other detection devices, and can short out surveillance systems. It can also shield them from explosions, bullets, knives, and other projectiles. In addition, D.C. uses it to stifle the screams of guards and policemen, and render them unconscious. At times, the villain uses it as a net to catch items that fall, or to trip up enemies. Word has it that it can even fly!
In short, Dark Cloak's signature garment has a great number of Cape Abilities.
