Mia: Bandages
"Please, just drink this. I'll be right back." She said to the grinning injured man. She rolled her eyes after turning away. He was probably a hunter or soldier of fortune who got in a fight with a mutant bear. She hated the way they always stared at her.
She hurried across the giant lobby that had been erected within the half-burnt wreckage of a hospital to a young woman with a baby. "Here's a blanket. It's hot during the day but you will need it tonight."
She was walking towards the front to yet another one-legged man hobbling through the open double doors when she noticed a young girl walking behind him, carrying a new backpack and two raggedy cloth bags. The man sagged to the floor by the entrance and the girl let down the two bags by him.
"Is this your father?" She asked as she examined the man's well-bandaged stump where his right knee had been.
"No. I was just carrying his bags in for him." The young girl said.
"Who bandaged you up, sir?"
The man pointed to the young girl with a shaking finger.

This series is part of a post-apocalyptic story that I'm writing from different characters' perspectives. These characters are all loosely based on MBTI types. Mia is an ESFJ.
