Challenge Deadline: 8 Mar 2017
There is a fence. You can decide on the details and change what you like. By default, the fence is five feet tall, chain link, and it rattles when the wind blows (perhaps your fence is short, wooden and painted white). The fence isn't that important. What's important is that your character wants something on the other side of the fence--tangible or intangible. But the other side of the fence is dangerous too (could be dogs, lasers, rent-a-cops, lava, dragons, cybernetic witches that need hosts for their daemoniac spirits, sprites, will-o-the-wisps, etc). Give the reader a character, an adequate reason, and show us what's beyond the fence.
